Are you a grateful patient that would like to raise much-needed awareness and funds for a specific purpose at the hospital? Are you looking to give back on behalf of a loved one or friend treated at the JGH and initiate an event that will make a lasting difference?
We are grateful to our many supporters who take their passion for our hospital to the next level and volunteer their time to independently run third-party, community events each year—they are our heart and soul.
The funds raised through these unique events go a long way to supporting our mission of advancing healthcare and medical research for our fellow Quebecers, and can benefit a hospital program, department, initiative, or can even be used to purchase much-needed equipment.
What kind of community partner events are there? The options are endless—anything that rallies your village. From raffles and auctions, to cross-country skiing and virtual-friendly options… show us what you’ve got!
If you are interested in hosting a community partner event, please contact our Events team. We will follow up to confirm and get you on your way!
Dr. Tsafrir Vanounou and patients highlight the importance of partnership in the fight against cancer, and how the act of rallying your community through local events can make a significant difference in the lives of patients now and in the future. This is a must-watch for anyone whose experience at the JGH can act as a driving force to increase awareness and funds for an important cause.
