WE'RE OPEN! The Foundation remains open as we have important work to do. Due to the circumstances, Foundation staff are working remotely, but responding to emails and monitoring their voicemails.
To reach our central reception, please call 514-340-8251-(Mon-Fri, 8 am – 4 pm) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The JGH was the first hospital in Montreal to treat adult patients with the coronavirus. It's a tremendous responsibility. Our response to COVID-19 is critical in containing the impact of this virus in our community and beyond. All hospitals in Montreal are now coming together to fight this pandemic and community members like you are doing your part by social distancing. You can do even more to help by donating critical funds to our COVID-19 Fund.
As COVID-19 evolves rapidly, so will our response. We have already increased the number of ICU beds, converted our Emergency ambulance garage into a COVID-19 testing clinic, and opened an additional screening clinic. All this happened in record time because of the commitment of our JGH healthcare professionals and generous supporters like you.
There are many ways to show your support. You can donate to enable the JGH to respond to urgent priorities and help patients and staff directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Many community members have offered in-kind donations. Because the primary focus of the JGHF is everyone's safety, we ask that you not send gifts, food or any other care package directly to the Hospital. Please have a look at our guidelines here and then reach out to the following JGH Foundation staff to set up your gift.
At this time, we can only accept items deemed a priority by the hospital: food and medical supplies. Please hold on to your donations. We'll keep your information on file and reach out to you once the crisis has slowed and the Hospital can safety receive and distribute additional items.
Our devoted Board Members Brenda Rosenberg and Bita Cattelan have launched an initiative to support doctors, nurses and other front-line hospital workers and to do it while protecting the staff, patients and the community. By supporting The Hero Project, you can show your support, offer delicious meals to the hardworking, devoted staff AND do it safely.
