COVID-19 In Kind Policy

POLICY STATEMENT


GUIDELINES ON THE DELIVERY OF FOOD AND IN-KIND ITEMS TO THE JGH HOSPITAL STAFF. A MESSAGE FROM BRAM FREEDMAN, FOUNDATION PRESIDENT AND CEO:

The JGH Foundation is overwhelmed by the generosity of our community in response to the current COVID-19 crisis. Many are looking for ways to support the front-line staff and have reached out directly to a member of the Foundation, Hospital, or have directly sent food to the Hospital.

At this time, we can only accept items deemed a priority by the hospital: food and medical supplies.

As the situation continues to progress, the safety of the staff and patients remains our number one priority. As a result, strict measures have been put in place to reduce the number of people and goods coming into the hospital. Movement and travel between departments within the hospital is also being reduced.

Please hold on to your donation. We'll keep your information on file and reach out to you once the crisis has slowed and the Hospital can safety receive and distribute additional items.


GUIDELINES

Please do not send food, supplies, or any goods directly to the Hospital. Receiving items such as these in a pandemic situation is dangerous and becomes difficult for staff to coordinate. Instead, please reach out to the following JGH Foundation staff to make a donation:

  • You can make an immediate impact on our COVID-19 efforts, by making a secure, monetary donation.

    * ALL in-kind donations must be vetted and screened through the proper channels and procedures to be accepted as in-kind donations.
