Advancing clinical research and patient care

The JGH Foundation greatly values its donors and recognizes the continuing generosity of its friends and partners. The Governors’ Circle is our unique way of recognizing and thanking you for your support, as well as encouraging others to join our efforts. In this way, we can ensure continued excellence in research and patient care at the Jewish General Hospital for the benefit of the people of Montreal, Quebec and beyond.

Those who donate $250 or more to support world-class patient care and/or cutting-edge research care at the JGH within a single calendar year automatically become members of the JGH Foundation Governors’ Circle for the following calendar year. You can also choose to become a member by making a one-time donation in an amount corresponding to the category of membership you desire. Members enjoy the benefits described below.

The four categories of members are based on the cumulative donations made during the year:

Bronze	$250 - $499	Profiles in Reseach and Care newsletter Invitation to Fall and Spring lectures from leading JGH doctors and researchers
Silver	$500 - $999	All of the above benefits PLUS Invitation to annual breakfast with Foundation and Hospital leadership in the Fall
Gold	$1,000 - $1,499	All of the above benefits PLUS Invitation to a private tour of new Hospital facilities in the Spring
Platinum	$1,500 and above	All of the above benefits PLUS Invitation to the Hospital CEO's Annual Luncheon in the Fall

Cumulative levels of donation and membership categories are determined on January 1 each year. Eligible donors are advised of their membership status by letter in early spring, when invitations to the first annual lecture are sent out.

Today, more than 4,600 members of the JGH Foundation Governors’ Circle are providing exemplary support and playing an important part in advancing clinical research and/or patient care, including the promise it holds for all patients and their loved ones.
