Fighting women's cancers step by step

The 2012 Pharmaprix Weekend to End Women’s Cancers® benefiting the Jewish General Hospital was another great success. This year, 1,710 participants raised more than $3.7 million for the Segal Cancer Centre. This brings the event’s 8-year total to more than $48 million.
In 2013, we will once again be hitting the streets of Montreal for the ninth edition of the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers, our 2-day, 60km (or 1-day, 30km) walk to raise money for the fight against all women’s cancer. Join us on August 24-25, 2013, and walk with thousands of fellow Montrealers in a courageous show of spirit and determination, with the ultimate goal of putting an end to these devastating diseases.
From the day that you register for this important event, you will be taken care of by a dedicated team of training and fundraising experts who will help you prepare for the event.
The funds that you raise will allow the Segal Cancer Centre here at the Jewish General Hospital to continue its vital research and to consistently improve the care and services that it offers to its patients.
We invite you to join and register for the Weekend. If you have never walked before, this is your year. If you tried the 1-day walk in 2012; the 2-day walk is your next challenge. Once you are registered, aim high with your fundraising and share your enthusiasm with your friends and family. Ask them to join you on the road as we all walk together toward a cancer free tomorrow.
